HAWEN (Trilon) has been deeply engaged in the machinery industry for more than 20 years. Since 2005, we have conducted in-depth R&D and production of timing pulleys for home appliance motors, automotive timing pulleys, AGV forklift timing pulleys, as well as various single-groove and multi-groove timing pulleys and drive pulleys. This product is cast from cast iron and finished with precision mechanical machining. Our products are widely used in multiple industries:

1.Automotive Engine Cooling System: The water pump pulley drives the water pump via crankshaft power to achieve coolant circulation. For example, during high-speed driving, the pulley speed can reach 3000 rpm to maintain a stable coolant flow rate.

2.Industrial Fluid Conveyance: In centrifugal pump transmission systems, the pulley transfers motor power through flexible connection, allowing speed adjustment. For instance, in sewage treatment systems, the lift can be adjusted by replacing pulleys of different diameters.

3.Agricultural Irrigation Equipment: Pulley-driven submersible pumps can adapt to complex terrains. For example, in hilly areas, the extended pulley wheelbase design enables the pump to be installed near deep wells far from the power source, preventing motor moisture damage.

4.Air Conditioning System Compressor Drive: The pulley is connected to the engine crankshaft via a multi-ribbed belt and can still meet refrigeration requirements at idle speed. For example, a certain SUV model maintains torque reserve through an automatic tensioner at idle speed.

5.Marine Engine Cooling System: Pulleys made of stainless steel can resist seawater corrosion. For example, the water pump pulley of a cargo ship's main engine operates continuously without rust in a salt spray environment.

6.New Energy Vehicle Three-Electric System: The electric water pump pulley adopts brushless motor direct drive technology, realizing precise control of battery pack temperature through stepless speed change.

Material Selection


Cast iron is an alloy material mainly composed of iron, carbon and silicon, with a carbon content of 2.1%-4%. Its performance is significantly affected by graphite morphology and matrix structure.

● Gray Cast Iron (HT250): Tensile strength of 250MPa, hardness of 180-250HBW, but with relatively high brittleness.

● Ductile Iron (QT500-7): Graphite is spheroidized through magnesium treatment, with tensile strength increased to 500MPa and elongation of 7%.

Cast iron features a low melting point (about 1200°C) and good fluidity, making it suitable for forming complex castings with a shrinkage rate of only 0.5%-1%. High-Silicon Cast Iron (with a silicon content of 14%-18%) is resistant to strong acid corrosion.


Process Control


To maintain the operational stability and assembly compatibility of motors, strict dimensional control is implemented during processing, which places extremely high requirements on processing equipment and process stability. Such a precise tolerance range demands top-tier accuracy of machining equipment (e.g., CNC machine tools), high-quality cutting tools, and stable process conditions (e.g., positioning fixtures, vibration suppression); any minor deviation may lead to product quality defects.

We adopt advanced manufacturing processes to ensure this precision: realized through high-precision measuring instruments (e.g., Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Roundness Tester, Profile Measuring Instrument), strict process control (e.g., Statistical Process Control (SPC)) and a stabilized machining environment, which guarantees batch production consistency.

● Application Value: In precision transmission systems, inner bore tolerance directly affects the fitting accuracy between components and shafts, which is critical to transmission efficiency, noise control and product service life — it is a core technical indicator for high-end manufacturing.

Surface Treatment - Electrophoresis


As drive pulleys are made of metal materials and operate in harsh environments, they are inevitably prone to rust and corrosion without proper treatment. Our company has a professional and experienced core R&D team; through years of practical experience and repeated trials, we have developed a dedicated surface treatment formula for this product, and adopted fully automatic electrophoresis equipment integrated with a fully automatic drying system.

There is no manual contact with products throughout the entire process, which not only enhances the corrosion resistance of products to meet industry standards, but also reduces the risk of product collision caused by human contact and ensures the operational stability of products.

Other electroplating processes such as general electroplating, zinc plating and nickel plating are also available and can be fully customized according to customer requirements.
