HAWEN (Trilon) has been deeply engaged in the machinery industry for more than 20 years. Since 2005, our company has conducted in-depth R&D and production of timing pulleys for home appliance motors, automotive timing pulleys, AGV forklift timing pulleys and various types of timing pulleys. This product can be processed and formed from 45# Carbon Steel, 1215 Free-Cutting Steel and Series 70 Aluminum Alloys. Our products cover a wide range of industries:

Material Selection


45# Carbon Steel

45# Carbon Steel is a high-quality carbon structural steel with a carbon content of approximately 0.42% to 0.50%, belonging to the medium carbon steel category. Its material density is 7.85 g/cm³; its chemical composition includes 0.50%-0.80% manganese, 0.17%-0.37% silicon, with strictly controlled impurity elements such as phosphorus and sulfur.

Mechanical Properties & Heat Treatment: It has excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, with a tensile strength of not less than 600 MPa, a yield strength of not less than 355 MPa, an elongation of not less than 16%, and a reduction of area of not less than 40%. Due to its poor hardenability, it is prone to cracking during water quenching and has average weldability—preheating before welding and post-weld annealing are required to relieve stress. Quenching and tempering (quenching plus high-temperature tempering) in heat treatment can optimize its performance: the quenching temperature is usually about 840°C, the tempering temperature is 560-600°C, and the hardness can reach HRC 22-34.

7075 Aluminum Alloy

7075 Aluminum Alloy is an Al-Zn-Mg-Cu ultra-high strength aluminum alloy with zinc as the main alloying element. Its chemical composition includes 5.1%-6.1% zinc, 2.1%-2.9% magnesium, 1.2%-2.0% copper, trace amounts of 0.18%-0.28% chromium and ≤0.20% titanium, with aluminum as the matrix.

Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength ≥560 MPa (up to 572 MPa in T6 temper), yield strength ≥495 MPa, hardness 150 HB (increased to 175-200 HB in T6 temper), and elastic modulus 71 GPa. It maintains excellent toughness in low-temperature environments.

Machinability: It has excellent cutting performance and is suitable for CNC machining, but its weldability is poor—riveting or adhesive bonding is recommended instead. Parameter control is required during plastic working to avoid cracking.


Process Control


Internal bore tolerance control:  A high precision of ±0.005mm is required, demanding extremely high standards for processing equipment and process stability. This precise tolerance range places extremely high demands on the accuracy of processing equipment (such as CNC machine tools), tool quality, and process stability (such as temperature control and vibration suppression). Any slight deviation can lead to product quality problems.

Our company utilizes advanced processes to ensure this:  This is achieved through high-precision measuring instruments (such as coordinate measuring machines, roundness testers, and profile measuring instruments), strict process control (such as SPC statistical process control), and a stable processing environment, ensuring consistency in mass production.

Application value: In precision transmission systems, internal bore tolerance directly affects the fit accuracy between the part and the shaft, impacting transmission efficiency, noise control, and product lifespan. It is a core technical indicator in high-end manufacturing.

• Strict quality control is maintained throughout the production process to ensure product stability and durability during use.

• Material performance matching requires strict control of material hardness and heat treatment processes to improve wear resistance and fatigue strength.


Surface Treatment


Our company has developed a fully automatic blackening production line.

Since the timing pulleys are made of metal and used in harsh environments, rust or corrosion of the parts is inevitable.  Our company has a professional and experienced core R&D team. Through years of practical experience and experimentation, we have developed a specialized surface treatment formula for this product.  We utilize fully automatic surface blackening equipment and a fully automatic drying system, eliminating manual contact throughout the process. This increases the product's corrosion resistance, meets industry standards, reduces the risk of damage from manual handling and collisions, and ensures the stability of the product during use.

In addition, various electroplating treatments such as zinc plating and nickel plating are also available and can be customized according to customer requirements.
